Program Greeters (Shower and Laundry Program)

Days & Shifts:

• Mondays 8:30am-10:30am & 10:30am-12:30pm

• Wednesdays 8:30am-10:30am & 10:30am-12:30pm

• Saturdays 8:30am-11am, 11:30am-1pm & 1pm-3pm

Age Requirement: 18 years and over. Volunteers age 13+ ok when accompanied by chaperone 18+

Physical Requirements: Volunteer must have the ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, climb stairs, lift, bend and reach. If you have questions or concerns about the physical requirements, please ask before signing up for a shift.

 Duties include: Greeting guests for our shower and laundry program and explaining shower and laundry program rules to new guests. Volunteers will help with the laundry which includes Hope's Corner supplies and guest laundry, monitoring foot traffic in and out of the building, offering supplies to guests (toiletries, towels or available clothing) colleting supplies from the basement and bringing upstairs,  other tasks as needed.

SHIFTS: Each shift has 2 volunteer spots. During all shifts, a Program Assistant from Hope’s Corner will be on hand to provide support and guidance.
